Penydyffryn (Head of the valley)- Welsh stick chair

This is my take on a traditional style of chair from over the boarder in Wales. These where very primitive chairs born out of necessity and made by craftsmen of all trades from local hedge grown timber. often thought of as the early more simple cousin of the later English Windsor chairs. a wondaful chair stacked with history and would look great in so many settings around the modern home.

This chair can be made from Oak (as pictured), Ash, Cherry or Chestnut.
